Granpa’s in the hospital getting a pacemaker and defibrillator. Everything’s going great and he should be getting out tomorrow afternoon. Thank God.

There was a storm last night and the power got knocked out around 7 in the evening. I cannot take the not having electricity thing. I could never be Amish. I dug up my portable CD player headset and listened to CD’s ADD style [listen to first 5 seconds, get bored, skip through to about middle, listen for 5 seconds, skip to next track and repeat], texted Sarah Beth, then I got bored and fell asleep, got woken up by phone call, Lib came home, went to the neighbor’s house and gossiped, went home, argued with Libby because there wasn’t much else to do. Went to bed at 10 out of sheer boredom. Sarah Beth texted me at 12 or something and Lib told me that I said, “what’s going on?” really loud and in the style of Napoleon Dynamite, then went back to bed.

In 9 months there will be lots of babies born in LaGrange.

I wrote a snotty e-mail to Entertainment Weekly:
