I forgot how awkward I am in new social situations. I went to a party at a college friend's house Friday and I was the only one from our group that showed up. Hello, I don't know how to interact with human beings. It went fine, but my friend told me later that she thought it was hilarious that I wasn't my usual all over the place funny. I was quiet and kept to myself and didn't really talk much. It's all the same people in my classes now that we're in the last year, so it's been a while since I've been around a large group of new people.

Last night I went to a bonfire with one of my best friends and had the freaking best time. It was off the wall fun. I can't really talk about what we did because the police got involved, but holy crap that was fun. There's been a guy pretty much stalking my friend, so we fucked with his life hardcore and I don't feel bad about it at all because he deserved it as far as everyone is concerned.

This morning I woke up to a sign on my front door saying that a water pipe got messed up last night and we have to boil our water before using it. Um... I came home and drank 2 glasses of water at 4am, then made and drank a single serving packet of tea... Yeah, I would have liked earlier notice. Some guy down the street was building an additional garage and dug in the wrong place, which broke some pipes that they had to replace, leaving a chance for water contamination. Hopefully I'm insanely tired and not sick from something. I doubt there's anything wrong with the water.

I've been boiling bunches of water today, which is a pain. Most of it has gone down the street to a sweet elderly woman. Then I said screw it and bought a few cases of bottled water. I'm going to my friend's house to take a shower later too. My family went on vacation, so I'm on my own because I have school and work next week. So I'm at home contributing to the resistance of germs by using Purell.

I broke one of my resolutions on January 4th. I wasn't going to "be all up in celebrity gossip", but com'on. Britney Spears was taken to the hospital for a mental evaulation. How can I not "be all up in" that?

I almost, almost got to see a real hardcore bar fight last night after the game. One of the guys was two seconds from doing one of those hard chest pokes to the other guy, but his brother and wife settled him down. In hindsight it was stupid to go get drinks when the game was on. Amanda (Noel Fielding to my Russell Brand) and I met up with Marcus and Nikki at the smallest bar I've ever been in, The Joyful Mug.

Amanda, some of her friends, and I went to the Carnival of Terror and it sucked big. We had to walk forever to get to the different parts and they were lame anyways. Between one of the set ups there were guys with chainless chainsaws. One of them ran it over the backs of my legs when I went by and chased me, so I started freaking out (because they aren't allowed to touch the people) screaming "you can't touch me, you cock!" To which he replied, "you know you like it."

My brain feels like bavarian jello. I simply cannot retain anything else. I have reached my limit for this semester. I'm run down to the point where I can't get concerned about things. I was so worried for my Assistive Technology midterm, but I was blaise about my SensoryMotor one. I did well on both. For so long this semester I've been overwhelmed and I think I've finally shut down and can't take anymore in.

I had my last final today, which was for civilization and was the only one I was truly worried about. I'm not sure how I did to be honest, which freaks me out. I studied and was fully prepared, but it's the kind of class where I'll be worried until I have my grades in my hand.

Went to Bounce and Union Station with Amanda and Marcus again. It was fun after all the drama, but it will be awhile before I'm ready to go out again.

I still can't believe my finals are over and I can relax. I start my student teaching the 24th, so I don't actually get a lot of time off before I go back to class.

My grandparents are on vacation, so it's me and Lib right now.
