"I could feel your hard-on."

I got an A- on my Intro to Mythology midterm, so yay. Here I was all worried I sucked it big on that one.
Watched Torchwood - Cyberwoman
That is the kind of quality episode I've been wanting and waiting for. The right mix of bad dialog, emotion, pain, technology, ass kicking, effects, and snogging.
I think Russell T. Davies has been watching some Joss Wendon.
For most of the episode Jack was yelling at his people to do things and they wouldn't do them on his command, they had to ask questions and think he was wrong. He really has no power or control over them as a "boss", so I understood where he was coming from toward the end where he wanted Ianto to Do. What. He. Said. All that considered: Jack was right, but in the wrong way.
On the shallow side of things: I love all the kissing that goes on in the show. Every week we get at least one snog.
One thing that sorta bugs me is the actress that plays Gwen. She was on Doctor Who playing a character named Gwyneth in The Unquiet Dead. I suppose there's a reason they named her Torchwood character so close to her DW character, but it's probably just to irritate me.
There needs to be more Jack though. And Ianto should cry all ugly and snotty every episode because he does it so well.
I could be all intelligent about the show and discuss it, but I'd rather squee over the awesome and pretty.
I voted. In my pajamas because that's what cool people do when they have to do laundry, but don't want to. My driver's license has the wrong address on it, so I came fully prepared with bank statements with the right address and my college ID, but they never asked for them. I went with my grandparents and there really needs to be people there to explain how to use the voting machines because my grandparents were clueless. There were a lot of people voting at 2:30 in the afternoon as compared to last year. Basically I'm just happy those damn political ads will stop now. Thank the sweet baby Jesus. They were already out of those sweet "I voted today" stickers, so I have

Am I the only one who keeps getting "[Error: Database handle unavailable at /home/lj/cgi-bin/LJ/User.pm line 299. @ w80]" or some variation thereof whenever I click to an lj post? Because it's very annoying.
And now for some fanart:

Heroes. Niki and Nathan. Because it's wrong.

Entourage. Eric and Vince. Because it's right.
