Zoe and Wash. Too cute together with the mellow love. ”Tiger, My Friend” by Psapp is the perfect song for them, I think, because it’s so flowy and isn’t overstated.

My art gallery opening was Friday. My very unorganized first art gallery opening. Everyone is so tired of Mary Ellen’s craziness. The resident artists and the owner, Rick, as well as the student artist interns. She’s so out of it.

Rhiannon, Bethany, and Erin were there along with people from others schools who were the musical entertainment. It was sad because they thought that it was going to be a big thing with a stage when it was supposed to be more like background music for the people walking around. They didn’t even have a sound system; Mary Ellen had to turn around and get a CD player from her house, which was shaped like a Beetle car thing.

The artists had to be there at 5:30. I hung out with Jim, Kelsey, Gary, Josh, Jason, Amy, Nick, and Sam. There wasn’t anything for us to do, so we played around singing kareoke[sp?], switching name tags [I was Jim, Jason, Josh, and Kelsey over the night], making fake name tags [I was Felicity Shagswell (shags well by name, shags very well by reputation), Kelsey was Alotta Faginas, Jim was Austin Powers, and Amy was Ivana Humpalot], and tossing grapes in each other’s mouths.

There were actually a lot of people there, but it was mostly empty by 9 instead of lasting until ten, so we all just screwed around and had fun.

I was completely surprised that my family showed up. My grandparents were there and didn’t come see me until they were getting ready to leave. Becky came with Randy, Josie, and Little Randy, then got superpissed when Rick and Theresa arrived at the end. Ooops. Libby came and took me home.

Saturday I had my art class. I now have England with Jason and Josh, who I can now tell apart. We’re working with chalk pastels on the Seven Ages of Man project, which England is really pushing. She showed up late, so I chilled with Susan and the twins before she got there.

I finally got my prom dress... seven days before prom. I’m telling you, it just sneaks up on you. Most girls get there dress months in advance and I completely forgot like the ‘tard I am. It’s cute. That’s all that matters. I went with Theresa, Rachel, and Rachel’s fetus [Julia]. Julia enjoys kicking her mommy’s bladder, honey roasted peanuts, and cherry fruit roll-ups.

Went to church today and Sarah Beth wasn’t in Sunday School, but she was in church. Again. We never seem to show up on the same days. We played musical chairs.
