Movie Rec:

Bright Young Things- In this period comedy directed by Stephen Fry, Adam (Stephen Campbell Moore) must acquire enough cash to marry beautiful Nina (Emily Mortimer). Against this predicament, he must also deal with his group of wild, carousing friends who have a propensity to self-destruct through their endless search for endless thrills. Co-stars Dan Aykroyd, Jim Broadbent, Simon Callow, Richard E. Grant and Stockard Channing. [summary from netflix.com

If Moulin Rouge and Down With Love had a crack baby, this movie would be it. It’s a vision of the decadent aristocratic, at times perverse, lifestyle in the 40's as seen from the 20's. It’s not only the lead characters that keep the movie alive and flowing, but the smaller supporting cast, which keep things going.
Fanartage:

800x600
Emmy Rossum [Emmanuelle Grey Rossum]. She’s so cute. I bet people pinch her cheeks like an old grandmother all the time and tell her she’s adorable.

800x600
A Kate/Sawyer/Jack wallpaper because they bore me, but I can’t look away. The lyrics are from Land Locked Blues by Bright Eyes featuring Emmylou Harris, which I uploaded off yousendit because it’s too beautiful for everyone not to hear. I’ve been listening to Emmylou Harris since I was a fetus, but I’ve been denying it, so I’ve decided to admit my love. I have a feeling she’ll be bigger in the “underground” now because of her song with Conor Oberst.
And a nice lj cut for the flist userpic meme. I’m warning you now because my flist is huge.
