Ideas are burning my braaaaiinnnn, but first, teevee.

Carnivale
Still in love with Carnivale, but since when are we given that many answers at once? Management being the Russian! And just simply being told that. Ummm, the voice is the lady who does the voice overs on PBS. I love that they had a female voice that part.

And now Justin knows he has to kill Scudder to become all powerful and such. I think they’re upping the pace a bit, at least for the first episode of the season.

If Scudder is Ben’s father, then is Management the orphaned Justin and Iris’ father? It’d make sense. What does that make Iris in the grand scheme of things? From the looks of the inside of the Book of Mathias, only the men of the line matter. Not to mention that the book is real. William Talbot Smith was real.

Ben’s evil now? Hmmm. I could live with that. But then does that mean that Justin is good? Or is it supposed to mean that Management is good and Scudder was evil? Personally, I think that everyone is evil. Everyone. Everything. All evil. No one is good. Or at least not completely good. Good people do evil things and evil people do good things.

Justin started out good, then went “bad”, so what’s to stop him from changing again. That could be what it’s all about. Ben’s powers can be considered good, but with bad consequences. Possibly it’s all about balance.

The TreeMan is Sophie’s father, so him bleeding blue blood to Justin to show him what he needed to kill Scudder for, makes him evil? So going on the basis that the line goes evil, good, evil, good, etc., then Sofie is good and her child will be evil. Or it could be reversed, making Sofie evil and the baby good, but that is doubtful because I’m sure the TreeMan is evil due to his rape of Sofie’s mother. After Sofie’s birth and during, I think, Apollonia had seizures, so it would stand to reason that Sofie could be evil as well.

Management’s said temptation when it comes to Ben might be that with the two of them existing at once, their power is divided the same way with Justin and Scudder. So why wouldn’t it work both ways? Maybe Management is weaker partly because of Ben and killing him would give it more power, but then Management would still be too weak to defeat Scudder/Justin. Hmmm, possibly Scudder will kill Justin instead of Justin killing Scudder.

Having a thought here, what if this whole thing is meant to keep us away from the real people with the power. Kind of a look over here at them while the real people pull the strings. Maybe Iris is the important sibling. It was said that Norman’s greatest sin was rescuing the Russian orphans, what if it was rescuing Iris and not Justin that was his greatest sin?

I’m apt to think that there’s more than just good and evil to this. The TreeMan has to fit as well. Maybe he’s a swing. Could be bad and could be evil, depends on different things. I can’t see it being two sided, 3 is always an important number. Maybe that’s why Apollonia tried to kill Sophie. He’s said to be the usher, so maybe he’s only there to set things in motion, not to choose a side.

Odd thought, do we know who Gabriel’s father is? Could be Scudder. Scudder was with Hyde & Teller and had an affair with Ruthie. My brain hurts.

24
I’m back to digging it. I stopped watching about half way into season 2. I can’t remember why. I think I hated Sarah Clarke or something. But now I’m liking it again.

Chloe annoys the ever loving crap outta me.

The satellite was supposed to take 5 minutes and it took more than an hour.

I can’t believe that they can do that to Richard. That bitch needs to be fire. I don’t care if her daughter is nuts. I still can’t agree with what Jack did either.

Behrooz will run away by the end of the day. I really hope that kid lives. So sad.

Lost
I feel a war coming on. In more ways than one.

I so called Boone and Shannon, just like tons of others. I made a bet with Lib that they weren’t brother and sister and were having sex and still hasn’t paid me. Ho. In the end when he said, “I felt...” dramatic pause. I said “free”. And Lib was all, “nahuhhh,” then he said “relived”. So that was close enough. It’s not because he doesn’t love her. I think he does. Guilt does a lot of things to a person. His mother doesn’t care about Shannon from what we know, so he thinks she’s his responsibility. It was twisted and fucked up, but in the end they’re not related. They know they’re not related.

Lib called the hallucination goo. I think it was cool. Locke only did it to help Boone. Fucked up and odd as it was, it was good for Boone.

Walt read that comic book in Spanish with the polar bears and they appeared. Also with the rain, so I think he can control the island to an extent. Which is why the people wanted Claire. Hello, look for her jerkoffs.

Jack, please don’t wear the key around your neck. It not only is cliqued (re: kinda cute), but is very girly.

People on the island are all getting what they want or need in someway. Sawyer wants punished, Jack wants to prove himself as a hero, Kate subconsciously wants to be able to stay put, Sayid wants to atone, Boone wants to be free, Michael wants to be closer to his son. So on and so forth. Obviously, other people’s motives are harder to discern without their flashbacks and complete back stories, but I”m having another thought here. The pilot saw the “monster” after being in that cockpit for around a die. He was scared and hurt and in pain. What he wanted most then was prolly to die. Same with the Marshall; he just wanted to die and the island gave him that. The woman, Joann, who drowned, technically wasn’t on the island when she died. Hell, we never even saw her. That being said, I don’t think that it’s a “monster” at all. It’s more like a manifestation. Your feelings projected onto it. No one can die on the Island unless they want to.

So 3con artists of out 48 survivors. And yet no one’s gay that we know of. JJ Abrams has a major thing for con artists. I heard he’s doing another pilot about a set of con artists.

PEE ON ME!

It looks like the next one is a Michael episode by the promo pics, not a Walt episode, like lost-media.com says, but I could be wrong.

Alias
Loved everyone and their crazy accents.

Poor Weiss. They threw him a party, but they didn’t invite him to the real spy party.

Noooo, don’t shot Weiss.

Must Sydney go undercover and have to make eyes at the baddies all the time?

Yeah, Nadia/Weiss had better not go the way of gag worthy Syd/Vaughn.

Marshall was very awesome with the yelling.
