Dessa is a writer, spoken word artist, rapper, and singer with work that contain narratives of female self-reliance. Oh, interesting! I'm curious to see which Dessa song wins for most vids; right now it looks like Matches to Paper Dolls is ahead which sort of surprises me, actually. I would have guessed Seamstress.

I think Matches to Paper Dolls has the kind of lyrics that can retrofit to lots of relationships and fandoms. I'm surprised there's so many of them.
