Best compliment I've gotten all day. Second best is when a student hugged me and said, "you're the best teacher to hug." He could have left it at that, but he went on to say it was because I'm squishy and wear soft sweaters...

Huh, rereading I have no idea why I read it like that, lol. I feel lame, but which song cover?

My students are polar opposites. They either love me or hate me. I've never had a student hate me before and especially not say so. I adore all my students, even the uncooperative and/or irritating ones.

The new job shine is wearing off, but I still love it. I'm getting million ideas and I'm trying new things, getting the swing of it all. I feel like I'm making it up as a I go along, but I think everyone feels like that where I work.
