Totally like a late unopened present! I'll be honest I only watch one of these shows and I'm horribly out of date with that one, but this was really...sweet, fun and weird. Those shows really all have a similar aesthetic and it really came through here. Hooray for totally awkward, embarrassing yet oddly sweet Christmases on NBC Thursday Nights! <3

I'm in awe of Alison Brie and how she plays her characters. I didn't realize she was Trudy on Mad Men because her two characters are different and I'd never connected them until recently.

Annie is fantastic and I love her physicality, like her head shake and hand movements. Her and Abed can make me laugh by pointing their fingers.

finally catching up! my present got REALLY buried in the closet. this is super fun! I'm curious how long it took you to make, and if you were drunk the whole time -- you are totally a Cylon Vidding Machine. sitcoms are so hard to vid, but you really captured their quirky and charming tone here (like beccatoria said, ha).

It didn't take long. I started it and got sidetracked with so many things to do. I think it was two days with technical bullshit getting in the way.

The fake documentary style of Parks & Rec and The Office helped the stale camera work. I looked for more interesting camera moves and framing in Community and 30 Rock to balance.
