as you may have noticed, it usually takes me weeks or months to leave feedback on a vid, but I had to roll around in this one RIGHT AWAY. BECAUSE IT IS EVERYTHING I HAVE EVER DREAMED OF! are you going to post to bsg_femslash?

and I think you should post it for another of thearchive2 challenges -- broadcast? or 01000011 (Cylon POV) if you want to go roughly in order? because I am now going to make you do a vidlet for each of the 10 challenges, watch. *ENABLES* (and remind me to tell you about my idea for "projection" when I finally get around to it -- I still have some of these challenges to finish myself...)

however, slightly detracting from the AWESOME for me was the fact that, while the photographs were probably clear enough for your purposes under the rainbow brain pattern, the BSG clips were almost impossible to make out. I wanted to be able to tell whether the memories were of Athena or of Caprica's affair with BOOMER, and I couldn't. (I kinda want a zip of all the pics now, heh -- it's mostly Tricia's Playboy and Grace's Maxim?)

Oh shiny, I'm not very well connected in the femslash world or the BSG world for that matter. I'll be pimping my wares all around the "interweb" soon.

While I posted it to the Porn Battle, I had originally envisioned it for challenge 09 - projection, but I wasn't sure about double dipping so to speak by posting for 2 challenges. And after I'd made it, it didn't seem to fit thearchive2 challenge anymore.

I've noticed that you are a master enabler. I already have an idea for challenge 08 - microscopic that I'm wanting to work on this week. I know exactly what I want to do. The problem is actually doing it. :) I'm planning on doing all the challenges at some point. I really like the set up and challenges.

I messed around a lot with the levels and eventually decided to keep the BSG clips all washed out, but pershaps I should have changed them back to make it obvious that it was Athena and Caprica in the Opera house. The transfer from my laptop to my PC also changes. I can't quite match the screen settings on my laptop to that of my PC, so everything comes out a bit darker than I intended.

My concept was a 6 downloaded Caprica's memories previous, then had an 8 download Athena's memories, both of which included an encounter in the visions of the Opera house. Sadly the file was corrupted, so there was not so much porn as had hoped.

I have a huge folder on my other computer I'll upload with the photos. All the Grace Park images were from Complex magazine, while Tricia Helfer's were complied from Playboy, Arena, modeling work, and others.

*mwahahahahahaha* see how I secretly used mind control on you?!? obviously I'd love to kick around challenge ideas with you or help in any way I can. and you should totally double-dip on this one -- I reiterate that it could be broadcast or 01000011, perhaps even more so than projection.

the specifics of this piece are clearer after your explanation. one hiccup is that it's actually Athena and not another Eight putting her hand in the Cylon internet in the beginning, right? that's why I wondered if she'd downloaded memories from Boomer. your way, with Eight and Six downloading from Athena and Caprica, makes more sense, but I don't know if there's footage to support it. and oh, doing it in the opera house! yes, I couldn't see that -- if I were betaing this :), I probably would have recommended fading in the texture gradually (as the file becomes more corrupted).

I myself sometimes have trouble telling the difference between Athena, Boomer, and the other 8s just by looking at them. it wasn't until the last season or so that I could tell the difference in performance. I had fun with it and worked some technical things out though.

I was all set to go to VVC, then my boss revoked my vacation days, so I had to cancel. I'm going next year no matter what though.
