In the recent months, I've been continually in awe of the vids coming from the Battlestar Galactica. They are so smart and dense.
beccatoria's there's a war going on for your mind, laura. (Battlestar: Galactica) - There are many levels and layered lyrical interpretations. When I watched this vid, it felt like "finally". It was almost like it was meant to be. The editing and thought give such a sense of scope for the source. There's a back and forth rhythm in the movement and editing that really gets to me.
heyiya's Sons and Daughters (Battlestar: Galactica) - I was hooked completely by the compelling way in which the vidder presented the ideas. It wasn't until I finished watching that I realized how far I had bought into it. It never feels crowded. There's always a center focus. The concept itself is glorious. I'm positively loving all the creativity and thought coming out. The construction of the vid is so interesting. I feel such hope for a better worldand from the Cylon perspective, it feels like the logical and destined path.
