Femslash Vidshow (Hug a Woman With Your Legs) Recs (I truly rec all of these vids. There's not a single one I didn't enjoy and love. I tried to pull together as varied choices as I could, so please enjoy.)

In femslash things can be more fun, more complicated, more adorable, more colorful, over the top, but never sated. Where fear and propaganda can meet. Sometimes it's sad and sweet, sometimes it needs to be created or seen from a different angle. They can be separated by glass, separated by death, always in our hears, like a fairytale that was fated to be cut together from different parts to become something new.

1. Scarlett North-Cavanaugh's It Keeps Getting Better (Multi) - This is actually framed as an advertisement, but I really like how it showed current femslash relationships in the media today.

elipie's The Way We Get By (Broad City) - This is my jam. I love this show, this couple, this vidder, this everything.

shati's We Are Complicated (Buffy the Vampire Slayer) - There's such a distinct understanding of Faith/Buffy. The nuances in the movement within the vid is great.
4. kitty's Don't Let Me Fall (Yes or No) - So adorable. I already have the source on my must see list. So adorable and sweet.

cherryice's festivid treat, but ended up rewatching the whole show instead of making the deadline.

milly's Wonder (Once Upon a Time) - Breaks my heart when I think of Mulan. WEEE CCCOOOOULLD OFFF HHAAAADD IIITTT AAAAALLLLLLLL.

niyalune's Mrs. and Mrs. Blake (Teen Wolf) - Beautifully constructed trailer for underused characters (Jennifer and Kali). Epic as all hell.

anoel's Ready or Not (Faking It) - Another vid that made me seek out the source after watching. So cute and sad and adorable.

ghost_lingering's Signs (Dark Angel) - I adore this vidlet and everything that it is. Original Cindy was FORMATIVE for me.

fray_adjacent's Everywhere (Xena: Warrior Princess) - I think there's a guideline somewhere that femslash vidshows should have Xena in them and this vid is perfection.
14. FenrirsLittleSister's I Was Married (The Little Mermaid and Aladdin) - I'm so glad I was able to include this vid. The way the sources were put together and the storyline achieved fill me with joy. It's like taking something from childhood and reconstructing it into something new.

chaila's Hands Away (Fringe/Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles) - I knew I had to have this vid in my femslash vidshow. Come on, look at it. It's skillfully made and I bought into the premise immediately.

ohvienna's Vitalum Vitalis (American Horror Story: Coven) - When they sent it to me, I watched it and cried so hard. I thought they were going to "fix" the ending with Cordelia and Misty Day... It's their fault that I didn't have a happy ending femslash vidshow. Those assholes (ilu tho).
