My grandparent’s had dropped me off at the therapist’s office and then Libby was going to pick me up after she was done at work. I went in, said “hey” to Cindy at the desk because she used to work with my aunt Libby, then went to pee. Then I came out and Cindy told me that my therapy appointment got messed up again. It was my first one in forever and the computers were down, so the secretary double booked it. I’m in therapy for a reason people and this is the kind of thing that gets to me. It was like when I went to the ER after my accident, the doctor asked where I had been going and I said to therapy and he got this look on his face and asked my aunt what reason, like I was crazy.

Cindy let me use the office phone to call my aunt to come get me early. It took her 30 minutes. I waited in the waiting room for a while, then after 15 minutes, I figured Lib would be almost there because she works not 10 minutes from there. A guy in the stairwell had a bottle of beer and totally grabbed my ass. It’s good to know that in the event that I’m ever sexually assaulted, I laugh uncontrollably. I’m a horrible feminist. I feel oddly proud that I’m the object of gropage. I’m a terrible person at that, all I said was, “hey”, and kept walking down.

Then I waited outside. I never noticed that my therapist’s office is in the truly, truly ghetto neighborhood. There’s a bar right next to it. It was interesting to watch the people, drunk at 5pm, dodging through traffic to get to the parking lot across the street. What genius put the parking for the bar across the street?

Lib picked me up and we went to the IHOP. I decided to act stupid by taking my birth control pill. I hate swallowing pills, even small ones, so I have to really psych myself up to do it by having the pill in my mouth, taking a drink of something, tilting my head back, making sure the pills as far to the back as it can get, closing my eyes, and gulping. It’s very funny, so I’m told. Libby laughed and dribbled water down the front of her shirt. It was great, some guys at another table were staring.

I just read an article that said JJ Abrams is going to revive “Alias” in the new season by going back the way that things worked before. The last season, I think, wasn’t as good with all the scifi crap going on. I remember when it was a show about a woman juggling college, a normal life, and her career in the CIA. Then it became this thing about prophecies and green goo and long lost sisters.

I’ve been trying to catch up on Farscape, but it’s taking forever. There’s season 2 and 3 episodes on at 3am to 6am on early Friday mornings. Then there’s season 3 and 4 episodes on at 1am on Monday mornings. Then I’m getting the season 1 discs from Netflix, which has been sucking lately. My aunt sends then back and it’s days before they say they received it, when in the beginning they would get it and we’d have a new one the next day. I think they’ve realized that they’re not making much money and are holding them for a few days, then sending them out. Or maybe they used to have a nightshift or something and then got rid of it to save money. Or maybe I’m thinking about it entirely too much.
