I've been starting to apply to awards sites, like Driver Picks The Music Vidding Awards (http://viddingawards.wolfpupsden.us/index.html). I only recently began to enter my vids. The first being For the Damaged Coda (http://kiki-miserychic.livejournal.com/66582.html), which won and gave me a boost of confidence. For a long time I didn't because I was intimidated by the whole process. I'm extremely insecure when it comes to vidding (and most of life). I supposed I don't enter often because I think people would point and laugh.
...awards sites can be one avenue to get them out there and bring in more viewers regardless of fandom. I never thought about it that way, but now I can see how it would help.
It makes me frustrated to see you getting so few replies. To *anything*. (And I say that knowing full well that I haven't yet replied to a couple of those. *sigh*) To make myself feel better about nearly no one watching my last couple vids, I assumed it was because of the holiday and traveling. :) That and with such a small viewing audience, I don't expect much.
