gay clubs and essays make the world go round

Spring Break was great, except for the 8 papers obviously.

Sadly, Queer as Folk and the l word have ruined gay clubs for me. Amanda, some people she works with, and I went to Union Station and Bounce in Lakewood Cleveland. I was expecting a much tamer and less pretty version of Babylon or something. I had lots of fun, but it was exactly like every other club I’ve been to, minus the drag kings and queens. Honestly, I think I’ve seen more grinding on the dance floor of straight clubs.

I still have 1.25 papers to write. Poop. But at least I have my taxes done now.

Seriously? I don't know my directions for crap. Someone said we were near Cleveland in Lakewood.

Bounce is at Detroit & W. 25th, in Cleveland's Ohio City Neighborhood.

There is another club called Twist, on Clifton just east of W. 117th, but that's still Cleveland...you're not in Lakewood until you go west of W. 117th.

Thanks. It's not going to be too bad. The last one isn't due until Friday, but I'm not going to have much time during the week to write it, so I have to do it before Tuesday. This semester is slowly kicking my ass. :)
