I started back at college and this is my last semester before I graduate with my Bachelor's Degree (yay accomplishment). It pretty much means the only thing I'm going to be doing for a while is going to classes and student teaching.

I've been meaning to make a post about

vid_commentary, but never actually did it. I posted commentary for

charmax's multifandom (Battlestar Galactica, Terminator: Sarah Connor, Terminator movies) vid, Unnatural Selection. Also,

thuviaptarth posted commentary for my Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles vid, Ding! Dong!

I'm considering participating in Challenge 2: Combined Vidder & Viewer, but I can't figure out what I want to do for it. The idea is a comparison of point of view from creator and audience on a vid, which sounds like it could be incredible and enlightening.

Bale Out!! If only because it has the best automatic commentary title ever.

You never know. I almost didn't include two of the top vote-getters in my poll as options because I figured no one would be interested. We probably have vidder-blinders on.

thuviaptarth's commentary made me realize how much awesome I was missing in that vid (which I already loved). Better late than never?

oh god, Unnatural Selection might just be my favorite fanvid EVER. Whenever I watch it, I always have to put it on repeat and go like five times in a row before I've had enough. There are VERY few vids that I watch like that.

I've only had one session with my advisor (we only meet Fridays), so I think I'm nervous and things are looking more difficult than they really are. I'm more than halfway done with one of my 3 week classes, so that's where most of my time is going.

I love swearing birthday messages!

The studying part is mainly over! I'm student teaching, so no final exam per se, just bunches of evaluations. :)

My 3 week class is what's taking up my time, so I'll have more time after that's over. If you'd like to do The Fall vid with me, I'd totally be up for it. :)

You would? Are you sure you wouldn't like to do Bale Out? Don't feel pressured because I asked... I'm totally going to write commentary on it at some point regardless of whether you do. Promise!

I'm not doing Bale Out commentary for a while. I'm not sure I have enough to say about the vid, Once Upon A Time, so much as I have stuff to say about the movie, which doesn't fit the challenge. Seem how you're relaxed about it, is it ok it I don't do the challenge? I wouldn't have much to say, lol.

Yeah, T:TSCC and BSG and the Terminator movies could scar a child. My dad let me watch Silence of the Lambs when I was a kid and look what happened...

I know my tendency to go into tangents and the commentary would devolve into something very not what it's supposed to be. Mainly because I don't have defined thinky thoughts on the vid itself. It'd be mostly about the nature of storytelling and interaction.

Mmm, true... and knowing my love for the source I could get derailed into that as well. Wise rethink there! ;) I love what the film has to say about storytelling so much.

No, anything not Heroes would be good I think. Of course my favorites I've already talked about or it just had a commentary (Ding Dong). Hey, how about the Dollhouse one???
