I know, right? Stair to...where? "Your house is too big, there's too many empty rooms." Gotta wonder if it ties in somehow with The Lodger and someone trying to build a TARDIS and God only knows what, 'cause I sure don't!

I assume it's a perception filter or something, like in The Lodger.
