Note to self: When you run out of granulated sugar, powdered sugar is not an acceptable subsitute for coffee. *shudder*

Meme:
Everyone has things they blog about. Everyone has things they don't blog about. Challenge me out of my comfort zone by telling me something I don't blog about, or haven't blogged about recently, but you'd like to hear about, and I'll write a post about it. Ask for anything: latest movie watched, last book read, political leanings, thoughts on slash, favorite type of underwear, vidding techniques, etc.

I'd love to hear your thoughts on Pushing Daisies from favorite characters/relationships/episodes to things you wish you could change about it to your hopes for the future.

I'm still amazed that they were able to keep going. After I watched the pilot, I thought that would be it. I thought the premise was weak and they had used all their storyline in the pilot. I was supremely pleased that as the series went on, they were able to keep it fresh and interesting.

With the characters, I love all the characters, which is unusual for me. I'd have to say my favorite character is Ned. I love his awkwardness, quirkiness, sincerity, goofiness, and his passions.

I'd have to say that the pilot, Pie-lette, is my favorite episode because it sets the whole thing up and introduces that characters.

I love the way all the relationships are handled on the show. I'm still taken aback by how adorable and sweet Chuck's relationship with Olive is. I find it refreshing and cute beyond all sense. I'm so glad they developed a friendship between the two of them instead of have tension and spite there.

In the future I hope they pay close attention to the proximity between Ned and Chuck. There's time when he clears the table and his hand is well within touching distance of Chuck's arm.

I hope in the future they continue with the flashbacks because I adore seeing little Ned and little Chuck.

What do you love most about teaching?

What is one vid you swear you'll never make because you have some dignity?

If you could make one slash pairing canon, which one would it be?

There's so many things I love about teaching. What I enjoy the most is being there for a child. I'm doing student teaching in a not so great area, so I'm just glad to be a part of the children's lives. I try to help create an environment where they feel safe. That's my main goal.

I suppose if there was any vid that I will never do, it's a House vid about the religious aspects to the Lord Move Me On Up mashup by locK3Down. It's completely awful in that it's morally offensive, mocking, rude, and abrasive. I will never actually vid it because it would feel like a rude answer to Nicky's beautiful Chase vid. So my religious House vid will never be made because it's simply to mean.

I'd have to say that I would make Mohinder/Sylar canon because House/Wilson, Ianto/Jack, and many others already have canon representation or at least recognition.
