As with many of your vids, I know nothing about this fandom but I still enjoyed your presentation.

Very nice tempo, particularly at the beginning with the abrupt opening and all of the walking. You do a great job throughout of using motion and pace to give some energy to source footage that (I'd imagine) is filled with lots of static shots of people talking. I don't know if I'd be brave enough to vid a drama of this kind. I also really like the cityscape shots breaking up the intimate moments.

Love the marker board over the person pulling out the key; and it's great how you really pick up the pace around 1:30. Blinds closing to the cymbal at 2:18 was nice. Then you pick up the pace even more a few seconds later, leading up to the scissors pick-up. Great instincts there. Love the cable cut at 3:31! Then we get sort of a roundup of all of the relationships, with terrific clip selections and some beautiful, poignant-looking moments.

Very nice, and the final segment puts a big bow around it.

Somewhat unrelated side note... I'm not sure what's worse - the fact that I get all fluttery and hot-faced everytime Katherine Heigl shows up; or the fact that, despite that, I'm still too lazy to watch the show she stars in.

OMG, thanks.

The character, Christina, had ectopic pregnancy and they had to a laparotomy, which is what's on the surgery board. The key was from another episode when her boyfriend, Burke, left it in a coffee mug for her. Basically what I was trying to say was that their relationship is all about balance, so in a skewed way, if something is taken away, it gets replaced.

Love the cable cut at 3:31!
:) The cable is to the guy's LVAD, which pumps his heart. She cut it so he would get worse and get a heart.

Yay, I wanted it to parallel the beginning of the vid (and the series) when they were walking across the same catwalk thingy.

EHeheheh, that's so great. I love Katherine Heigl, even though she looks into the camera.

I knew there was probably lots of meaning that I was missing by not being into the fandom. It's always nice when someone puts some serious thought into clip choice the way you do - but still has the skill to give it some visual impact even when the viewer doesn't get the depth of the message.

I love Katherine Heigl, even though she looks into the camera.

I'm pretty sure she could just stand there and read the phone book aloud for the whole episode, and I'd be all "You watching Grey's tonight? Katherine's doing the Js! Squee!"

This is very cool, and definitely the best Grey's Anatomy vid I've seen yet. Gorgeous pacing and movement as usual, and I LOVE the way you structured it, especially in the endgame where it just flows from one character to the next. The suitcase slamming on 2:38 is one of my favourite moments, and the intercutting of the walking clip right after was great. Oh, and 1:41 with that blip in the music! Awesome lyric matches, too. :D

Thank you.

I really wanted to work on having the end transition well between them all and have structure.

I am sort of on again, off again with GA and I'm not sure I've watched any other vids from the show...so this was a real treat! I appreciate how balanced it is and how you move so smoothly from character to character without it feeling abrupt. There's also some really effective cut pacing -- my favorite being the section with George from about 2:38-2:45ish. Thanks for sharing it!

Aww, thank you.

There's not many GA vids out there.

I really wanted the transitions from character to character and scene to scene to work, so yay.

I really wanted to the George section to work well because it's many people's favorite part of the song and he's many people's favorite character. :)
