You know, the thing I love so much about you - OK, one of the many things - is that you're so fearless. Your stuff is always so awesomely innovative. When I double-click that vid I'm always excited because I honestly have no idea what's going to pop up... but I know it'll look nothing like anything I've ever seen before.

This was the most incredibly new thing I've seen since Blood Red Summer. I feel like I could watch a hundred of your vids and never get bored because each one would feel so different that it's almost like a different medium.

The use of the static here was inspired, and I love the sudden sounds. (Did you do this with WMM?) Probably the best visualization of River's descent into madness that I've ever seen, and I think the thing that makes it work is that it's so understated in a way.

Wow. You say type the nicest things about my crazy vids. I don't think of myself as fearless as far as vidding goes, it's more acting out frustrations. :)

Yep, all in piddily WMM. The static at the beginning is the same as what I used for Blood Red Summer (Hopefully this is the end of weird love of static phase). The sudden sounds were the sounds off the clips cranked up. One of the sounds is reversed, which I did in a little program called "MFC Video Time Reversal", which is neat for being 28.0kb.

...it's so understated in a way.
River had a certain stillness to her in the "you're very quiet day" scene because she had the knowledge of her mission, which I really wanted to play out against her freaking out saying, "you cut it out, you cut it out". Plus, maybe River being quiet and still is when she's the craziest in a way.

Seriously, next time I'm having a crappy day, I'm going to come back to this post and read it.
