Oh gosh, I need to rewatch this quite a few more times until I've got coherence again, but I want to make this comment as a placeholder until I've sorted out my thoughts: this is fabulous. For me it's also timely, because I've recently watched or rewatched a few Disney films that have left me both frustrated and charmed, not always in equal measure. More later after a few rounds of watching and thinking.
