She was a January girl
She never let on how insane it was
In that tiny kinda scary house
By the woods
By the woods
By the woods
By the woods

By the woods
By the woods
By the woods
By the woods

Black dove
Black dove
You're not a helicopter
You're not a cop out either
Honey, black dove
Black dove
You don't need a space ship
They don't know you've already lived
On the other side of the galaxy
The other side of the galaxy
The other side of the galaxy

But I have to get to Texas
Said I have to get to TEXAS
And I'll give away my blue blue dress

Black dove
Black dove
You don't need a space ship
They don't know you've already lived
On the other side of the galaxy
The other side of the galaxy
The other side of the galaxy

But I have to get to Texas
Said I have to get to Texas
And I'll give away my blue blue dress
And I'll give away my blue dress because
Cowboy, the snakes,
They are my kin, are my kin.

She has a January girl
She never let on how insane it was
In that tiny kinda scary house
By the woods
By the woods
By the woods
By the woods

By the woods
By the woods
By the woods
By the woods

By the woods
By the woods
By the woods
Black dove

I've never seen a single episode of Doctor Who but I still thought this was amazing. I LOVED all the parallels between River and Amy. And I really liked the unpredictable (but never choppy or 'wrong' feeling) rhythm of the cutting. Made the vid feel that much more unique, not that uniqueness is ever an issue with your work. :) Oftentimes I don't really care for vids that constantly cut so fast but it totally worked here. Oh and the repeated spinning motion starting at 1:12 admist all the chaos is gorgeous and striking, as are the flashes of the angels around 1:33. This is probably one of my favorite Dr. Who vids. Amazing work!

I wanted to play with things a bit and I quite like the result. I tend to fall into predictable cutting rhythms with vidding. Weeeee!
