I try to keep in mind that doing what I want to do in a vid is inversely proportional to how much apprecation the vid recieves online.
Ah that kind of sucks for you. I think you are too smart for your audience! FWIW sometimes I find I just don't know what to say about some of your vids. Which is kind of a lame excuse, but true. They're so visually chewy that they don't translate to words easily and I'm not very good at just commenting with my personal response to something and having my silly thoughts just, like, be all out there. But I'm getting better!
Put me on the list of people who think that essay would be fascinating, even though I understand that sometimes you just don't want to make those things public. I perpetually feel like I lack the language and the POV to say what I mean about things like "vidding as art" and end up saying it all wrong. So I'd love to read your thoughts sometime!
