I faced reality and sent an e-mail to VividCon registration saying that I won't be able to attend this year. I'm bummed out because I'd been looking forward to it, but it's not possible right now. Blerg.

I had wanted to talk about vidding as art with you at VVC! In personal and all!

I had to cancel last year due to work, but this year feels worse because I had everything set and I let myself get squeeful about it.

I started writing some vidding meta on the subject, so maybe I'll be posting it before VVC.

The only thing that would fix it is teaching my mother how to manage her money so she doesn't have to borrow some from her daughter. That's after the insurance company pays me back for my hospital bills. It just wasn't going to happen this year.
