Just stopping by to fangirl your vid again. I was rewatching it (ten times0 for reccing purposes and I've got to tell you that the dolphin line still gets me every time. I don't ship 'em, I don't. Really. Except, um, on that line. *fans self* I also love how the redonk of the dolphin line is kind of sent up by the 'this ain't seaworld!' that follows it...
Also love wee!Kirk singing along at 1.58 and the leap that follows it. And though it's mostly a comedy vid, I found that the line 'big boat coming my way' for both Kirk and Spock odlly moving and I really connected with the epicness of them there.
I think it's the fact that these moments (the slash-gasm and the epic-destiny) are the opposite of heavy-handed, they just sneak in there, that makes them all the more powerful for me. It's like... I began watching for the LOLZ and then got sucked in. ;)
