I think the iconic moment of the vid in every way is 2:55-2:57, as the face swings in on the vocal and then the shot of the hand just after. So powerful.
You know... your effects - what you did with the text and the film strip look - are so cool, but they're almost an afterthought for the viewer because (1) they fit so well that you don't really see them and immediately deconstruct them; and (2) the core level source+music connection is so powerful in itself that the effects are just kind of sprinkled over on top of that.
This is some of your best work, Whitney. You've always been in your own league, but I think in your last three or four vids you've really taken it to an even higher level. Now stop. I think my brain is gone.
